Project: Overton Drive, Wanstead

Description: The scheme comprises a loft conversion, rear extension and internal alterations to the ground floor of a 1930’s semi-detached house in Wanstead, north east London. A ‘stepped’ rear extension minimises the impact of the new building on neighbours, while maximising internal space. A new family room, kitchen and dining areas are combined into a single continuous space, with generous glazing overlooking the landscaped garden. A frameless structural glass bay window extends the kitchen into the garden, while roof lights over both the kitchen and dining areas bring natural light deep into the plan.

Status: Complete.
