Project: Rosslyn Crescent, Harrow.

Description: The site is a corner property with an extensive rear garden. The intention is to convert the existing family home into a ground floor apartment and upper floor maisonette. This is achieved through the provision of a two storey side extension and loft conversion. At the same time, the rear garden will be subdivided to create a new property at the end of the garden, terminating the terrace of houses behind. The scheme provides a mode for densification of a typical residential site without over development or compromising the clarity of the original site plan or the amenity of neighbouring properties. In terms of the apartments, the new accommodation is generously proportioned and rationally organized. The new house is compact, but filled with natural light which permeates the house on three sides.

Status: Planning.
