ABOUT
JH Architecture is a design focused practice based in London. The practice was formed to focus on residential, educational, community and commercial projects which require bespoke solutions to bespoke briefs. Every client is unique, and we believe every solution should be tailored to each client's specific requirements. Design is a highly collaborative exercise, and we value the creative input of clients, colleagues and all of those involved in the emerging design proposition.
As a practice we strive to find imaginative responses to both the challenges and opportunities presented by the brief, the site and the specific circumstances of the project. We are interested in projects of all types, at all scales and in any context. Our objective is the making of objects, spaces and buildings which are simultaneously creative, practical and beautiful.
The practice is run by Jim Hutcheson, an architect with more than 25 years experience, working on a wide variety of projects at a range of scales, from nationally significant cultural buildings, including the Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh and the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin, to large scale residential projects in London on sensitive sites in Victoria, Finsbury Park and Kensington. The practice offers a full range of architectural services, from inception to completion.
